The founder of Judaism is Abraham. Abraham found judaism in 1,300 B.C. This religion was found in the city of Mesopotamia.

The ancient leader of Judaism is Moses. The current leader is the Rabbi.

The Place of Worship

The place the Judaism's worship is the synagogue. In the Orthodox synagogue it was mostly men that lead into learning and being able to read in Hebrew. The synagogue is where a bunch of Judaism's come together for community prayer services but only a certain prayer can be said in the presence of minyan. The day they worship this religion is on Saturday.

Where it Began and Practiced today

The place where Judaism was found was in Israel. The religion is practiced in a synagogue.

Main Religious Beliefs

They're main beliefs is they believe in one god. The belief of the coming of Messiah.

Judaism God

The Judaisms believe in only one god. Some Judaism's refer to god's name as Hashem. God's name was revealed to Moses in the book of Exodus.

The religious writings are contained in a Tanakh. It contains the sacred writings from ancient Jews.

Religious Practices

One of their religious practices is with Hannakah on the 25th day of the month of Kesliv. Hannakah continues for eighty days until the third of trivet corres ponds roughly to December 12-19. Another religious practice is the passover. A third religious practice occurs in late September or early October.

Judaism Festivals

Rosh Hashanah marks the beggining of the jewish new year this is a two dat festival. Yom Kippur is an eight day celebration that starts after the Rosh Hashanah. Another festival is the Passover, it begins in spring. The passover celebrates the exodus from Egypt.

Judaism Symbols

The main symbols are the star of David and the menorah. The star of David represents David's shield. The menorah represents the oldest symbol of jewish faith.Judaism.jpg
